At SVYC, kids growing up in one of Denver’s toughest neighborhoods find a place where they are safe, seen, and supported — and it wouldn’t be possible without people like you.
When you volunteer, you’re not just giving your time — you’re giving kids the steady encouragement and caring connection they need to believe in themselves. Whether you help with homework, serve warm meals, lead activities, or just listen, you’re showing a child they matter.

We are most in need of volunteers that are able to commit to a regular schedule of one-two hours a week.
- Mentoring
- Tutoring (reading and math)
- Group Biking (Mondays at 4:00, warmer months & weather permitting)

SVYC volunteers are mentors, role models, and cheerleaders for youth who are ready to learn, lead, and grow — even in the face of big challenges.
